Dear Orozco Family:
 
February is the month of love and friendship and at Orozco we are working hard in ensuring that we have a culture that reflects that every day.
 
This month we have important activities and your support is needed:
 
__When should LSC meetings be? Please vote here, once: https://tinyurl.com/LSCjuntas 
__ The last public audience for the gifted expansion is this Tuesday, February 5th at 42 W Madison from 5-8pm
__We have a middle school Valentine’s dance this Friday, February 8th: please consider donating food items so we can sell to fundraise for students attending to DC. We will have a kindergarten-5th grade dance on Friday, February 15th and donations are always accepted
__We have a gardening workshop this upcoming Saturday 9th from 9:30am-12:30pm. Open Lands will offer breakfast and child care for free. To register in English, go here https://tinyurl.com/GardenEnglish
-On February 28th we will host Network 7’s BAC meeting. This meeting is a big deal and in addition to learning and food items, our students will perform as well. It’s open to the public starting at 8:30am.

Febrero es el mes del amor y la amistad y en la Orozco estamos trabajando arduamente en asegurarnos de que tengamos una cultura que refleje esto cada día.

__ La última audiencia pública sobre la expansión del programa gifted es el martes 5 de febrero en la 42 W Madison de 5-8pm
__Tendremos un baile del San Valentín este viernes 8 de febrero: por favor considere donar artículos de comida para poder venderlos y recaudar fondos para los estudiantes que van a DC. También tendremos un baile para los estudiantes del K-5to el 15 de febrero y también estaremos aceptando donaciones.
__Habrá un taller sobre el jardín este sábado 9 de 9:30-12:30. Open Lands estará a cargo y van a dar desayuno gratis y cuido también. Para registrarse, vaya aquí https://tinyurl.com/Jardinespanol
__El 28 de febrero la Orozco será la anfitriona de la junta del BAC del Network 7. Esta junta es muy importante porque además del aprendizaje y de la comida que se servirá, nuestros estudiantes presentarán sus talentos al público comenzando a las 8:30am.
