Ivonne Morales

Ivonne Morales is proud to be an educator and contributor to achieving the mission of Orozco Academy.  Ms. Morales has 8 years of varied teaching and leadership experiences in bilingual/ESL, special education, and case management.  Throughout those 8 years, she has facilitated various professional developments at the school-wide level.  In addition, she has been a member of several leadership teams (ILT, MTSS, RTI, PBIS, BHT, Literacy, etc.) since her 1st year of teaching.   Overall, her goal is to improve student academic success and promote a safe learning environment for ALL students.
 
Ms. Morales earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Special Education at Loyola University, a Master of Arts Degree in Education at Dominican University, and undertaken coursework Harvard and the University of Chicago.  In her free time, Ms. Morales loves spending time with family and friends, traveling, eating out at various restaurants in Pilsen and weightlifting. ​
