Andre Lemoine

Andre LeMoine has over 20 years of teaching experience at Orozco Academy.  He has taught language arts, social studies and has recently returned to science, where he loves the curriculum filled with experiments and self discovery.  Mr. LeMoine earned a Master’s Degree in English Literature from the University of Illinois at Chicago and also holds endorsements in ESL and Science.  In addition to academics, Mr. LeMoine has taught classes in yoga, juggling, chess, and Aikido.

In his time off, Mr. LeMoine earned a black belt in Aikido, raised two boys at CPS schools, fixed up a hundred year old house in Humboldt Park, and helped his wife open Cat and Mouse Game Store where he gets to exercise his mind by playing board games that range from classics like Go and Chess to more esoteric games about power plants and dragons.
