Ms. Visinaiz has been a teacher at Orozco for 25 years. She has always been pleased to be a part of the positive and supportive staff at Orozco. She has taught Social Studies the majority of those years as well as Language Arts. As an eighth grade teacher, she is always proud to see the eighth grade students receive their diplomas on stage on graduation day. She feels proud and fortunate to help them leave Orozco prepared to accomplish many goals and achieve success in their high school years and beyond. She is happy to have many of her previous students return to visit with her.
Ms. Visinaiz earned her degree at Northeastern Illinois University in Chicago. She initially attended the University of Illinois in Urbana, Champaign. There she had the opportunity to experience dormitory living and also later shared an apartment with other girls attending college. She then returned home to work full- time and later complete her course work.
Ms. Visinaiz enjoys reading books and articles about health, and emotional and spiritual well-being. Whenever she possibly can, she enjoys spending time with her son, daughter-in-law, and two grandchildren She also has the blessing of providing support and care to her 93 year old mother. Many holidays and birthdays are spent in celebration with her siblings and family members.
