It is with great pride, that I want to share, that I attended Chicago Public Schools throughout my years at the elementary and high school levels. I still remember Hubbard High School and the positive events that I experienced and loved with my interactions with both my teachers and peers. Then, I moved on to the University of Illinois.
Growing up in Chicago, I always enjoyed and felt appreciative, to being exposed to a multicultural environment. The many and varied ethnicities and cultures in Chicago truly made it a great place to live.
Orozco Academy is the school that I chose to teach and love. It has been a vital component of my life both for its high educational standards that it sets for the students, as well as the family oriented aspect it projects, through its many non-academic social and community activities.
Learning through languages and other cultures has been the highlight of my life, and this integrated exposure, has both enriched and impacted my life forever.
