Mr Freidheim has been teaching since 1992 and has been at Orozco since 2005. He is endorsed in Math, Science and Bilingual education. He learned his Spanish while serving in Honduras as a Peace Corp volunteer. He received his BA from Antioch College in Elementary Education with a minor in Mathematics, completed his bilingual classwork at Northeastern, and his science endorsement at the University of Chicago.
Mr. Freidheim is active in the after-school programs at Orozco. He has run programs in drama, homework club, Science club, the Peace and Leadership Council, and this year organized and ran the Tutoring Center. He hopes to begin an LGBT student support group for the 2017-18 school year.
In his free time, Mr. Freidheim enjoys many outdoor activities; camping, fishing, cross country skiing, Hiking and many others. He loves to travel and has been to all 48 of the contiguous states, Bahamas, Canada, Honduras, Mexico, Japan, and South Korea.
He believes in creating a safe space for all students to live and thrive within and works to make sure that all students feel accepted, valued and included within the Orozco community.
